Building an ethical investment portfolio

I’m really pleased to have a piece published in this month’s Professional Paraplanner magazine. I was asked to explain how we go about building ethical portfolios for clients at EQ Investors.

We feel that ethical investors really want to see their money doing something positive.  This is called Impact Investing. The Global Impact Investment Network (GIIN) describes this as “investments made into companies, organizations, and funds with the intention to generate social and environmental impact alongside a financial return”.

Feel free to check out my article and let me know what you think. If you are interested in exploring this area further please speak to one of the Financial Planners at EQ Investors.

On a separate note, Professional Paraplanner have now launched their website. This includes loads of great content from the magazine. Head over to and check it out!

Please note that this post is aimed at Paraplanners.  If you need financial advice please speak to a financial adviser.
